About Tour Package
Our Sarajevo Walking Tour is a two-hour guided walk through the Old Town, the best way to understand why Sarajevo is called the place where East meets West. With a local guide you explore the historic heart of the city on foot, at an easy pace and with plenty of stories along the way.
You walk through Baščaršija, the Ottoman bazaar, drink from the Sebilj fountain, watch the craftsmen of Coppersmith Street at work and see Gazi Husrev-beg’s Mosque, the Old Orthodox Church, the Catholic Cathedral and the synagogue, all within a few hundred metres. The walk continues to the Austro-Hungarian part of the city and the Latin Bridge, where the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914 triggered World War I.
This Sarajevo Old Town tour is perfect on your first day in the city and works well with our Sarajevo War Tour or a day trip to Mostar. It can also be booked as a private walking tour.
