Our first stop is Konjic, a small town on the Neretva River known for its 17th-century Ottoman stone bridge and its woodcarving tradition. Stretch your legs, take photos of the bridge and enjoy a Bosnian coffee before we continue south through the Neretva canyon.In Jablanica we stop at the destroyed railway bridge over the Neretva, a symbol of one of the best-known battles of the Second World War and the setting of the film "The Battle of the Neretva". The town is also famous for its spit-roasted lamb.Mostar is the highlight of the day. With your guide you walk through the old bazaar of Kujundžiluk to the Old Bridge (Stari Most), a UNESCO World Heritage Site rebuilt after the war. You will hear the story of the bridge and the city, and with luck see one of the famous bridge divers. Free time for lunch and exploring.At Blagaj we visit the 16th-century Dervish house built at the spring of the Buna River, where emerald water flows out from under a 200-metre cliff. It is one of the most peaceful and photographed places in Herzegovina.Počitelj is a medieval walled town above the Neretva, with stone houses, a mosque and a fortress tower climbing the hillside. A short walk up rewards you with one of the best views in the valley.We finish at the Kravica Waterfalls, a 25-metre-high semicircle of falls surrounded by greenery. In summer you can swim in the lake below. Then we drive back to Sarajevo, arriving in the early evening.
