About Sarajevo Full Day Tour
Our Sarajevo Full Day Tour is a complete Sarajevo day tour for travellers who want to see the city’s nature, history and culture in one relaxed day, with a traditional Bosnian lunch included. It starts with hotel pickup at 9:00 and lasts about six and a half hours.
With a local guide you begin at Vrelo Bosne, the springs of the Bosna River below Mount Igman, with its tree-lined alley, wooden bridges and swans. Then you visit the Tunnel of Hope museum, walk the abandoned Olympic bobsleigh track on Trebević, stop at the Jewish Cemetery that served as a sniper position during the siege and enjoy the panorama from the Yellow Fortress. The day ends with a guided walk through the Old Town of Baščaršija, where mosques, churches and synagogues stand within a few minutes of each other.
Hotel pickup, transport, entrance fees to Vrelo Bosne and the Tunnel of Hope, a traditional lunch and an English-speaking guide are included. The tour runs in a small group and is also available as a private Sarajevo tour.

The Springs of the Bosna River are one of the most beautiful natural landmarks near Sarajevo, where crystal-clear water emerges directly from the foot of Mount Igman. Today, the museum preserves original tunnel sections, wartime artifacts, and personal stories from those who lived through the siege. Visiting the Tunnel of Hope provides a deeply moving insight into the resilience and survival of the people of Sarajevo.The Sarajevo Olympic Bobsleigh Track, built for the 1984 Winter Olympics, is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks from its Olympic past. Located on Mount Trebević, it once hosted the world’s best athletes and symbolized Sarajevo’s place on the global sports stage. Today, the abandoned track is covered in colorful street art, creating a striking contrast between history and modern urban culture. From this location, visitors also enjoy breathtaking panoramic views over Sarajevo and the surrounding mountains.The Jewish Cemetery in Sarajevo is one of the largest and most important Jewish cemeteries in Europe, dating back to the 16th century. We've visited all of the important, characteristic and historical places throughout the Sarajevo. We've visited oldest park, tunnel of hope, Olympic bobsled track, Jewish cemetery, view points, old town, markets, had some wonderful lunch. We wouldn't be able to cover so much history and places on our own. One of the best tours we've ever been on. Thank you Elvis!

He picked us up in a sparkling clean car, provided us water, showed us almost the entire Sarajevo, discussed about the history and culture, treated us to a delicious traditional Bosnian lunch and also Turkish coffee and delights. The tour started with visiting the Tunnel of Hope, a must see masterpiece of engineering which gives you the depth of the tragedy of the Balkan War. My tour guide, Adnan, was super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about his job and showing me everything, answering all my questions and making sure that I had an amazing unforgettable experience. I have to say the tour was not just covering the war time. It also included a walking tour of the old city, the best view of the city from over the mountain and of course, a nice food. Overall, an amazing and instructive experience which Adnan particularly made it even more special. So, I highly recommend this tour and "hvala", Adnan.

Elvis was really friendly and knowledgeable about Sarajevo and Bosnia and Herzegovina. We did this on our first full day in the city and really got to see and learn a lot about its interesting history. We also got to try some delicious Burek and got plenty of restaurant recommendations. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The walking tour of Old Town was interesting to see the mixture of ethnicity and culture. Then he took us to the Tunnel of Hope for an emotional experience there learning of the siege of Sarajevo. Edis was so knowledgeable and able to impart his family's personal experiences during the war! Then up to the mountain top for green forests and amazing city views and remaining facilities from the 1984 Olympics! A very full but enjoyable and educational day!
