Private Tours in Sarajevo with a Local Guide

Your Own Guide, Your Own Pace

A private tour in Sarajevo means the guide, the car and the day are only yours. You choose the pickup time, how long to stay at each stop and what you want to hear more about, whether that is the 1992–1995 siege, the Ottoman old town or the 1984 Winter Olympics. Our guides were born in Sarajevo, and many tell the story of the war through their own families.

Every one of our Sarajevo tours can be booked as a private tour for couples, families and groups of friends. We pick you up at your hotel or apartment and plan the route around you.

Why travellers choose a private tour

Flexible start time that fits your flight, cruise or hotel.
A slower or faster pace, with breaks whenever you need them. One of our guests, a 75-year-old traveller walking with a cane, enjoyed the whole tour.
Families with children: the guide adapts the stories for kids.
More time for questions: you talk with a local, not a microphone.
