Travnik and Jajce Tour( Departure: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm )
Travnik was the seat of the Ottoman viziers of Bosnia for more than 150 years. We walk through the old town to the Colourful Mosque (Šarena džamija), known for its painted façade, and past the tombs of the viziers. Travnik is also the birthplace of Nobel Prize winner Ivo Andrić.
The medieval fortress above the town gives a wide view over the Lašva valley and the old town. Inside the walls a small museum tells the story of the fortress and the town.
Below the fortress lies Plava Voda, a spring of ice-cold, crystal-clear water lined with traditional restaurants. It is the perfect place to try the famous Travnik cheese and ćevapi.
On the way to Jajce we stop at the Pliva Lakes and the Mlinčići, a group of small wooden watermills built over the river. It is one of the most picturesque spots in Bosnia.
In the centre of Jajce the Pliva River drops about 20 metres into the Vrbas. The waterfall is the symbol of the town and one of the few in the world located right inside a city.
Jajce was the last capital of the medieval Bosnian Kingdom. With your guide you climb to the royal fortress, see the catacombs and the Bear Tower, and walk through the old town gates. Then we drive back to Sarajevo, arriving in the early evening.

Jajce Tripadvisor review: Medieval Bosnia: Travnik and Jajce Tour The watermills and jajce waterfall are the highlight. The drive is picturesque with high mountains with fall colors and water stream on other side. Waterfall is breathtakingly beautiful, watermills mesmerising with water rushing over the rocks gently forming short falls as though flowing over steps in white foam. One could gaze at them for hours. Sunny weather helped clicking great pictures.
