What a group tour in Sarajevo is like
On a group tour you share the guide and the vehicle with other travellers. The route and start time are fixed: our Sarajevo Walking Tour starts at 09:00 in the old town, and the Sarajevo Grand Tour picks you up at your hotel in the morning. You get the full story of the city at a lower price per person, and you often meet interesting people from around the world.

What a private tour in Sarajevo is like
On a private tour the guide, the car and the day are only yours. You decide when to start, how long to stay at the Tunnel of Hope or on Mount Trebević, and which topics you want to go deeper into. If you want to spend an extra hour in the old town or skip a stop, you simply say so.

When a group tour is the better choice
Choose a group tour if you are travelling alone or as a couple on a budget, you are happy with a set schedule, and you want the classic highlights of Sarajevo in one well-organised morning. Our group tours already include hotel pickup on the Grand Tour and Full Day Tour, so there is no hassle getting there.
When a private tour is worth it
Families with children: the guide adapts the stories and the pace, and you can stop for ice cream or a playground.
Older travellers or anyone with limited mobility: more rest, less walking, no rush. One of our guests, a 75-year-old traveller with a cane, enjoyed the entire tour.
Special interests: the siege and the war, Jewish heritage, Ottoman architecture, photography or food.
Short stays: if you only have a few hours between connections, we plan the tour around your time.
