Perfect! That is how I can best describe dealing with Elvis and Tour Mage. I was looking for a tour operator that could deliver a highly customized 10-day tour of the Balkans (Slovenia, Croatia as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina). After extensive research I settled on Tour Mage. Following initial discussion, Elvis provided a comprehensive proposal and once we agreed he delivered on every aspect of the proposal and MORE! It is understandable to be a little nervous when you pay a large sum of money upfront to someone you are unfamiliar with for a multi-day tour including costs for hotels, transportation, guides, and other expenses. There is no concern with Tour Mage, this is an exceptional company to deal with.
We are seasoned travelers, and I can say this is the best we have ever been looked after. The individualized tours, the selection and overall quality of hotels as well as the itinerary were all excellent.
For us, it was our guide Zulfo that made this journey truly special. He was with us every step of the way and managed every detail. He was far more than an excellent driver and an extremely conscientious personal assistant, he is an exceptional person and became like family. It was not easy saying good-bye. We will never forget this exceptional experience.
